Juniors

SWCC aims to provide junior cyclists with appropriate development opportunities to further their cycling skills and performance and enjoyment of the sport. Juniors are welcome on our group rides provided that they meet the following requirement:

– 14 and under are required to ride with an approved chaperone.
– Their cycling skills and fitness are appropriate for the intended group.
– They meet the gear restrictions for their age group.
– The intended group ride is within the distance set by AusCycle for their age group.

Racing

For juniors participating in events:

– Have correct gear restrictions and roll out for their age group.
– They must hold a racing licence.
– Helmet must meet Australian safety standards.
